It was a busy week at Evergreen School!  Students were spellbound on Tuesday, as storyteller, Jeff Stockton, shared the magic of story woven upon the strings of his Celtic harp.  Students will be working with Jeff throughout October as he awakes their imagination and creative spirit through the art and elements of storytelling.  “Save the Date” on Thursday, November 2nd at 6:00pm as families are invited to the school for a storyenteering experience where you and your student will create and bring a story to life together.

International Walk to School Week: Did you know that Canada held its first national Walk a Child to School Day in 1998 with participants from five provinces? Today, schools from all thirteen provinces and territories join millions of students worldwide as they walk to school during the first week of October.  This year, International Walk to School week is October 2-8, 2022. International Walk to School Day is Wednesday, October 5, 2022. Make a plan with your family to walk to school this week and take in the Fall colours J

Custodial Staff Appreciation Day: is on October 2nd and we would like to take the opportunity to thank Mr. Greg, Mr. Erick and Mr. Ray and recognize the hard work that it takes to keep our school clean and sanitary.

World Teacher’s Day: We can all think back to a teacher who made a positive impact in our lives or the lives of our children. October 5^th is World Teacher’s Day and a great day to say “thank you” to the teachers who work tirelessly in support of our students at Evergreen School.
