Kindergarten
Kindergarten plays an important role in engaging young children as active participants, building knowledge about themselves and the social and natural words.
Lunch Supervision
Lunch supervision begins on Monday, August 31, 2026. Please be sure to register your student through your MyCBE account. Students are required to bring their own lunch to eat.

Transportation
Yellow School Bus Transportation
Our yellow school bus routes are designed over the summer using the addresses submitted before June's pre-registration deadline. Get ready for some exciting journeys!
Parking
Parents and guardians are reminded not to park where it's prohibited during drop off and pick up times.

School Supplies
Student learning supplies are provided by the school for children in kindergarten through grade 5 and EES.
The following are things your student will need to bring to school:
- Indoor shoes appropriate for the gym to remain at the school (no black soles please)
- A full-size backpack that will accommodate 8 X 10 books and paper
- Daily snack, lunch and a water bottle - please label everything
- Change of clothing (including underwear and socks) - please label everything
Allergy Aware: peanuts and tree nuts.
We Kindly ask that you do not send foods with these ingredients to school in your child’s snacks or lunches so that we can keep everyone safe. If your child has any allergies, ensure that you provide us with updated medical information to support our efforts in keeping them safe.
Clubs & Activities
Fun Lunches
The hot lunch program is set up through Healthy Hunger. To register your student(s) please visit Healthyhunger.ca The schedule is posted on our school calendar page at evergreen.cbe.ab.ca/calendar in September.
Lifetouch Yearbook
Yearbooks will be distributed in the fall, typically by early October. If you missed ordering a yearbook please contact the office. We are usually provided a few extra copies.
Learning Technologies & Student Wi-Fi
Digital technologies are transforming how we teach our students. We utilize a range of technology tools to personalize each student’s learning experience, including getting connected to Wi-Fi for seamless access to educational resources.
Off-Site Activities
Keep updated on field-trips and other exciting off-site activities throughout the year. We're excited to expand on learning opportunities by stepping outside of the classroom.
