Dear Evergreen Families,
The history behind Family Day goes back to 1990 where the first Family Day was held in Canada in our very own province, Alberta.
Family is supposed to reflect the values of family and home that were important to the pioneers who founded Alberta, and give workers the opportunity to spend more time with their families.
Life is busy and setting aside some time for family is such a gift. We hope that this Family Day provides you the opportunity to focus your thoughts, energies and time to those closest to you… the members of your own family. Happy Family Day!
UPDATES AND INFORMATION
School Planning: Our projections for next school year are out and we will be starting our school planning process in the upcoming weeks. In order to effectively plan for classroom assignments, staffing and resources, we kindly request that any families that know their student(s) IS NOT returning to Evergreen School next year, to let us know as soon as possible. This will greatly assist us in our planning efforts and allow us to allocate resources more efficiently. Please e-mail me directly at acmcphee@cbe.ab.ca . This does not include our current grade 5 families who will be transitioning to middle school next year.
Kindergarten Registration: If you are planning on attending Evergreen School for Kindergarten and have not yet registered we would love to know as we begin our school planning for the 2024-2025 school year! Please review the information on our Registration page to register for kindergarten and follow the instructions. You can also review the Kindergarten Registration Guide. We look forward to welcoming a new group of learners to Evergreen School!
