On Friday, we paused to remember and reflect on the sacrifices made by countless men and women, Indigenous veterans and those who served in the armed forces. It was a time to honor their courage, dedication, and the freedoms we enjoy today.
This day is not just about remembering the past—it is about understanding the value of peace and the importance of standing together as a community. The sacrifices of those who have served remind us of the responsibility we carry today to build a world rooted in respect, understanding, and kindness.
On November 11th, take a moment to reflect on the significance of this day and the ways we can contribute to a peaceful and just society. Whether through small acts of kindness or standing up for what is right, we each have a role to play.
Thank you to Breanne Robinson, one of our grade 4 parents, who shared her trumpeting skills with the school with The Last Post and The Rouse at 11am on Friday.
Sincerely,
