Dear Evergreen Families,
Thank you to our Grade 1 teaching team, students and Ms. Sousa for leading us in an assembly that emphasized the importance of kindness, respect and standing up against bullying. It was wonderful to see so many students and staff wearing pink as a symbol of solidarity and inclusivity. It was also wonderful to have so many grade 1 families join us in support of their children.
UPDATES AND INFORMATION
Student-Led Conferences: Our Grade 1-5 student-led conferences are fast approaching. Evergreen students are excited to share their learning with you on Tuesday, March 19, 3:30-6:30pm, Wednesday, March 20 from 3:30-6:30pm, and Thursday, March 22 from 3:30-6:30pm. Student-Led conferences are a wonderful opportunity for students to take an active role in sharing their learning process.
Students have opportunities to:
- assume greater control of and accept personal responsibility for their academic progress,
- lead conversation with their families about their strengths, goals and next steps in learning,
- practice the process of reflection and self-evaluation, and
- develop organizational and oral communication skills.
Your child is excited to share their progress with you and we are excited to have families in the school celebrating the amazing work of our Evergreen students!
Conference booking will open via your MyCBE account on Sunday, March 10th at 4:00pm and close on Tuesday, March 19th at 3:00pm. How to book a conference
