Dear Evergreen Families,
Thank you for joining us at our student-learning conferences this past week. We hope the conversations provided a clear picture of your child’s progress so far this year and offered a chance to ask any questions you may have. As always, please don’t hesitate to contact your child’s teacher at any point throughout the year if you have questions or concerns about their learning.
We would also like to send a BIG thank-you to all the families who brought in delicious food for our teachers on Thursday evening. Your generosity and thoughtfulness are truly appreciated, and it means so much to our teachers.
UPDATES AND INFORMATION
Wizard of Oz: Over the course of the last few weeks, excitement around our school wide trip to see Alberta Theatre Projects The Wizard of Oz has been growing! On Tuesday, December 2nd our Grade 1-4 classes will fill the Martha Cohen Theatre and the following day, December 3rd, our Grade 5’s will head to the show. Unfortunately, due to the time of the show, we could not include our Kindergarten students. Given that the show runs over the lunch hour, students will have their ‘brunch’ before we leave the school and then will have the opportunity to snack during the 15-minute intermission. The fee for this amazing opportunity has been added to your ‘MyCBE’ account.
Eye See...Eye LearnTM: is a barrier free program for all kindergarten-aged children offered by the Alberta Association of Optometrists. Kindergarten-aged children who receive an eye exam and are in need of glasses are eligible for a FREE pair through the Eye See...Eye Learn program.
