The Battle of the Breakfast Cereal project is an exciting and impactful project, sponsored by our Evergreen School Council. It encourages students to care about others by supporting families in need over the Winter break. The "Battle" not only brings excitement and friendly competition to the school but also reinforces the importance of helping others and making a positive impact in the community.

 Students engaged in telephone and letter writing campaigns asking for donations from local grocers.   Costco and General Mills responded donating 100 boxes of cereal to the cause after reading a heartfelt letter from one of our grade 2 students. We are so proud of the initiative this young student took advocating for a cause and all our students for bringing in cereal and demonstrating their commitment to supporting those in need.  This project empowers our students to see the direct impact of their voices and actions.
