UPDATES AND INFORMATION

Pink Shirt Day: is on February 28th. Remember to wear something pink to promote kindness, compassion, and understanding towards others, to raise awareness about the harmful effects of bullying and to encourage people to take a stand against it. This year’s Pink Shirt Day theme is All Kinds of Kindness. A reminder that all forms of kindness help to build inclusive communities.

The purpose of Pink Shirt Day is to create a safe and welcoming environment for everyone, but especially children and youth. Bullying can have a devastating impact on young minds and can lead to long-term emotional and psychological damage. Grade 1 is hosting a Pink Shirt Day assembly on Wednesday, February 28th at 2:30pm. Grade 1 families are invited to attend.

If you or someone you know is being bullied, you can access these resources to get help: 1. Call or text the 24-hour Bullying Helpline at 310-1818. 2.
