The Volunteer Casino is one of the main sources of funding that enable us to do fun residencies like the Jeff Stockton, oral storytelling residency, that we just wrapped up. There are no school funds for extras like this and so we rely on the funds provided by the Casino which our school community volunteers for.

Because of our volunteer efforts a portion of the revenue from the Casino comes directly to the school. Last Casino cycle, this brought in over $70 000.00 for a two year. These monies were used for residencies like Robotics and In-line skating; for buses for field trips keeping the costs down for families, for new resources for literacy and math and a number of other things.

One volunteer shift is comparable to gifting the school $5000.00. Please consider marking your calendars so that you can help us out on June 11th and 12th. Volunteers also get a "golden ticket" to saved front row seating at school events like the Winter Concert as our thank you for their time.
